Role & Responsibilities:
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage test scripts and configurations.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects through their resolution.
- Conduct testing of RESTful web services and APIs.
- Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity in relational databases.
- Develop and maintain test data sets for various testing scenarios.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to a positive and cooperative work
environment.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to create, execute, and manage test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking industry experience, particularly in core banking testing with Jack Henry.
- Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Desktop/Web/Mobile/API automation.
- Proficiency in both Automation and Manual testing.
